WTC 1 Perimeter "Peeling"

Much of the west facade of the North Tower fell away from the tower as a single connected sheet of largely unbuckled perimeter prefab sections.

The top of the sheet is from about the 90th floor and the sides of the sheet are near the corners. This means that the spandrel plate connections and the column-to-column bolt connections stayed largely intact until hitting or just before hitting the ground.

Proof:

Consider the group of visible interconnected perimeter sections seen falling from the west side of WTC 1 in the following group of photos.

w

The intactness of the visible perimeter columns and ESPECIALLY THE TRAJECTORY of these columns means that they are not in freefall. They are being pushed outwards by the intact and unbuckled perimeter columns on which they are resting.

They are clearly being pushed out by something that is hidden within the dust.

The following 3 short, high quality video clips all show the entire west wall peeling outwards, largely intact.

All you have to do is project the falling large sheet of west wall backwards to see the top column sections are from the 90, 92nd floor.

You can clearly see both the north and west faces of WTC 1 peel outwards as large sheets in the link below

And another

The trajectory of the visible pieces as they fall outward means they are not in freefall.

The trajectory is consistent with being the top of a much larger interconnected sheet that peels away from the building as a single sheet.

The trajectories of the large visible portions of sheets are absolutely impossible if the object is in freefall.

The true trajectory is consistent with the visible portion being only the top of a much larger interconnected sheet. This sheet is NOT IN FREEFALL.

The bottom is firmly supported because the sheet is not actually separate from the building.

It is being pushed out, not being allowed to go into freefall.

Something is pushing back and out FIRMLY.

This means the large sheet is not yet separate from it's supports.

It is being "peeled".

The Top of the Sheet is fl 92-94

Edits of the Sauret video, linked below, allow us to see the top of the peeling sheet is either floor 94, 93 or 92.

We can look straight down the west face with this high resolution clip. We see the NW corner remains standing for a short time. The top of this corner is floor 97-98 (can be verified using this clip). The lowest fire comes from floor 92.

Near the 37 second mark you can see smoke covering the top of the sheet move towards the right. It moves sideways and not downwards because it is not in freefall: It is still attached to the building at the base of the sheet and is being pushed outwards.

You can verify that the top of the sheet peels away from the building from between floors 92 to 94.
